Gungadunnni - Do the bots and short sellers mean anything to the long term value investors ?

Hint - It depends

It depends on who is using the bots and for what purpose.

Are the bots there merely to facilitate a successfull short trade for some entity(s)? Preying on the easily manipulated amx stock.

Are they actively accumulating for a substantial shareholder wishing to average down ,knowing that there is a larger sized seller present ?

Is it accumulating on behalf of a suitor , hiding behind one of the holding co's ? Building a large enough stake to throw its weight into a low ball offer ?

So then what happens and when? --> that all depends on which of the above is the correct scenario.

And what about this --> If any company that viewed the data liked what they saw , and were going to place a bid back at 70c , you can't tell me that they wouldn't now be buying "on market" at this level. Why wouldn't they ? Buying here could save them tens of millions down the track, when they put together an successful bid close to the $2 mark.
