oaftar, re bids, I think people/funds take what they can these days. SDL likely getting a reduced offer, and will likely take it; talk that WHC will get a lesser offer than the original offer- and it will likely be accepted (imo). Just because funds pay more, it doesn't mean they won't accept less for a bid- if there was to be one. Would they prefer to accept 70c, say, or have their investment currently trading @ 43.5c?
Just on the sales process AMX went through, it is said here that the company would not accept $1.40, but I have not read anywhere that there was one single bid at any price. Can someone confirm that there was a bid, please?
