The SP bounced today but still below DIP (Dividend Investment Plan) Allocation price of A$32.3693.
Those share holders (16.49% of WES shares) participated the DIP are losing money as at 19/3/10.
The question is whether RBS has completed the on market buying for the DIP shares (about A$ 650 million worth of stock, refer to appendix 4d, 18 Feb 2010 Announcement) and at what price. If RBS bought them below A$ 32.3693, WES make some money.
All the DIP shares will be allocated on 31 Mar 2010. So RBS will or have taken some action to do on market buying.
Why people want to participate in DIP with out discount? Maybe some share holders with want small quantity of shares to save brokerage using DIP to increase their holding.
WOW has performed very well in the past 2 to 3 weeks. Interesting time indeed.
