No I would prefer honesty, accountability, foresight (as opposed to foreskin and no sight), good corporate governance (if that is difficult then at least observance of the corporations law), good management (which it has lacked for over a decade), reporting in accordance with the spirit and letter of the law and not the letter and a hony cone of loop holes to circumvent or keep silent on problems that has beld the company of billions (not millions or hundreds of millions) of policyholders and investors money.

There are people out there who want answers and accountability for the massive hemmoraging and losses the company has suffered. We also need and demand within a reasonable time frame, reasons and not excuses for failure to reveal the massive losses which 'suddenly' appeared which the regulator failed to prove to anyone save the company and its fragile elitist and unmeritorious board and management.

This company is s hit. Ther are no appropriate economic or financial terms to describe the collective conduct of the board, its management or its bankers for whats become of it.

They sold assets to selective businesses without properly determining if it was in the best interest of AMP its policyholders and other stakeholders. It failed. The regulator kept mum.

No manager, Chartered Accountant, lawyer (or firm), financial analyst or investment banker or actuary worth their salt can convince anyone that the decisions of a board and managers a left over of one of the greatest corporate failures (thats whats become of AMP) can all of a sudden revive their intellect, skills and professional abilities in an ethical manner and become responsible when it comes to a fire sale of the company's best assets.

We have to have Arthur Anderson's activities within the company for the past 10 years at least brought to the surface. That does not mean the other big 4 auditors were any better.
