Another vote may see a vastly different outcome. I suspect it's no guarantee we have seen the last of this discussion...
Of course, if such a turnaround were to occur, the right arena would need to be created for "face saving" and much more - a major exercise in negotiations and diplomacy by the British Govt. at home and the EU Leaders to present the opportunity.
Sometimes a bad decision just needs to be changed, no matter what you have to contrive to make it happen ...
