As we all know, Chile has been hit with an 8.8 earthquake yesterday.

Does anyone know whether this will affect Copper production from Chile in a meaningful way?

A few days of not despatching from the ports would not be meaningful.

If the supply chain is severely disrupted for say 3 months, then it would begin to have a sever impact on the copper stockpile.

People's thoughts and any links would be great.
