Biotech had a bad week in the overall US market with Biogen leading pack with a 22% loss on Friday. Gilead also took a 4.11% loss. The Biotech ETF (XBI) dropped 3.6%. XOMA, which had already been eviscerated on Wednesday, dropped another 9.6% on Friday, to 94 cents, down about 80% for the week. A total of 25 biotechs in the index plunged over 5% on Friday. If we do well this week and the rest of our sector doesn't I think it will be very telling that insiders know something big. As Spendit mentioned in another thread. There may be a bit of Inside information leaking out left and right among those in the know.
