Charlesn, it wasn,t so much timing as great advice at the time.....I doubt any broker fin. guru would have foreseen CSL going to $300 + or even $30.......I,ve bought some other shares which have done well and then plumetted..PAN for e.g. 11 months ago a friend suggested to my wife a stock DEG...De Grey Mining...she raided her piggy bank and bought 100k...$3k worth...put the Commsec paperwork in the bottom drawer.....Friend calls up 2 weeks ago and asks Mrs Woll what she thought about DEG now at 83 cents...needless to say my wife was pretty happy....and even happier when DEG SP hit $1.32 last week....We celebrated in the customary manner..wink wink......It is a similar story to CSL....a friend,s advice...and a punter,s mindset ,cheers Woll
