Kingaroy is not & does not get affected by flooding. The Stuart River is about 5kms from the centre of town on the western side and has a very small catchment area beginning in the Bunya Mountains about 45kms to the south west.

Cougar Energy's site is very high by comparison. It their site was to be affected by flooding pity help the locals not to mention Bundaberg.
