Will the next war be caused by water shortages

Because I am a bit tired of the twin towers thread, I thought I would chuck this in the mix. The above article is a major issue.

Major cities in India are running out of water. I believe India has a large control over Pakistan's water supply.
So water will become an increasingly powerful bargaining tool, maybe leading to conflict?
In NZ we give away rights to overseas water companies to bottle our natural water.
Maybe the oil tankers of the future will become water tankers and we will become the Saudi Arabia of the 21st century.
Maybe I should have another beer? I may then visualize not existent planes flying into the twin reservoirs.
