They may flounder on the rock of "identity politics". The need to be woke to differentiate from the republicans has driven them to crazy extremes but there is now, within the party, a competition to be the wokest.
The squad is in open revolt against the moderates [in name only] and the blacks are calling whites in the party "liberal white supremisists". Now the Wall Of Moms has been denounced for being white.
And anyone who thinks the Bernie Bros feel duty bound to vote for whomever the DNC puts forward isn't thinking. Bernie's delegates have all signed a letter DEMANDING that the party commit to single payer health care.
They know they can't win the Presidency and I'm betting they will panic.
