well, if you put in 50,000 @ 10 then you may cause the price to go up and you don't want that either, best is to put in a low ball bid before close then you can change it after 4 to what ever level you want, spent after 4 watching how it works, it is interesting. It will tell you the indicative close price and how many shares left at that level.
Closing bid trading is quite profitable for me. admit small $ play, you wont get rich from it by stable income.
