    There are other factors

    Sentiment
    Leverage to the gold price
    Amout of gold produced

    The market works it's own way
    Some are held down so shorters can ease out while loading up.
    Some overshoot so they can be sold
    Then shortened back down.

    I have seen it a few times
    And I hope I witness again in the next year or two.
