Thank you for your a continuing "calm and level headed" commentary, on CPL, with a clear grasp of the facts and progress.

CPL is a great prospect with $$$ in the ground at low cost recovery, with rail, port facilities and capacity already locked in, when compared to other prospective coal miners.
There is a good management team in place. This is a very large project and sometimes, negotiations overshoot timetables. It is better to take a little longer to get the deal right, than rush in and give too much away.
An announcement on funding and offtake arrangements is not too far away, so we must be patient.

Re the shorts, all coal stocks are being hit as the world coal market is spooked by the slowdown in demand [short term IMO], and in this case when announcments are made the shorts will be made to suffer if WE keep our nerve, and don't feed their covering.
