I think there will be more nasty surprises for retail shareholders and a dividend cut could be one.
If they can say there is 'no reason for the decline' from 400c to 90c and then watch as retail shareholders buy up huge amounts of stock from inside sellers thinking 'it's only share price manipulation' and then come out and say.. (suckers) 'well actually business conditions and earnings are deteriorating significantly'; well then I think we can continue to see large volumes being dumped by insiders in coming months which, if queried will likely also be met by a 'no reason' response and the odds are that yet again a nasty dividend surprise could be unveiled a few months later. It all boils down to trust now, and clearly the retail investors have good reason to have little left.
No "insiders" appear to be buying yet, which is another good reason to suspect more bad news is coming.
The recent presentation is lacklustre so please... no more presos and the only message it sends to me is that the company has shifted from a state of over-promise and under-deliver to a state of under-promise and under-deliver. Time will tell.
