I spent 37 seconds doing some in-depth, detailed analysis of when Centro make announcements.

Often, they will do them pre-open. Sometimes mid morning, occasionally late morning and other times around lunch. They have made releases mid afternoon, late afternoon and a number after close. They have also been know to make announcements during the evening (as we all know well).

I have also done some in-depth detailed analysis of when other ASX companies make announcements and surprisingly found the same pattern.

I also extended the analysis to other markets and found that companies, both LPTs and non-LPTs follow a very similar pattern also.

So, in conclusion, the question is more "will they make an announcement?" rather than when.
