cj, might be that the buyers are looking for ones with cash just now. MCO has the goods, but not much of the readies. There are bargains everywhere.
I hold MCO too. Been impressed with their exploration and geo work in particular. At this SP any funds raised will be very dilutionary. However, back at the ranch, something is brewing.

Gold is running up again as trouble in M East comes back. Many remember last time when giold rose in $US, so did the $A, and cancelled out the gains. They think it will probably happen again as the $US retreats.

Will it?

There is one big factor that is different this time, and its an elephant. A bloody big bull elephant of a factor.

Commodities in general are down in a big way and Australia is a commodity economy. Until commodities in general improve a lot I cant see the $A making too much upward movement. Some, probably, as gold rises, and the $US declines somewhat, but it is pretty likely it will not be any repetition of the last experience of near parity.

Gold stocks will benefit a lot. Not many know about MCO, but a rising tide raises all ships. If MCO's price were to just tag along in a surge starting in juniors, the cost of raising more capital in terms of dilution will fall. That will make it more attractive and a bit of a virtuous circle gets in motion.

Get my logic? What think you? Same goes for all golds big and small.
