My thoughts are that the top bidder was approached by MEO with something along the lines of you will be the winning bidder if you agree to these post discovery LNG terms. This was MEO's idea I believe. I think the PF may have just been interested in the %50 and were willing entertain MEO's ideas to get it. In the case of CUE not playing along with MEOs terms, I believe the deal may go ahead anyway.
Is there anyone out there who thinks the PF is the one driving the side agreements instead? And any ideas about what the specifics may be?
