Today's announcement was a surprise.

Peter Landau and the OKAP crew resigning (or given the boot) is a good thing.

If Village was pushing for this then its likely that they will be positioning themselves to take full control of CCC down the track. Whether this will happen 6,9,12+ months down the track no one knows.

Village will possibly wait to see at least one or two quarters to see if CCC can mine profitably.

Since Village got their placement at 8c then I can see a takeover bid having say a 20-40% premium on this. My call is that if there is a takeover then the price could be in the 10-12c range. Not much consolation for those who got their entry at 20c+ but those that got in at the 4c (give take 10%) its worth it.
