Good points about the risk involved but the following also needs to be answered

Are these ships to be stopped and boarded in international waters?

If a ship refuses to stop and be boarded will it be attacked and to what degree?

What legal rights do the US, Aust and any other country involved have to stop and board another countries ships?

    Does this have UN backing?

What would the US's or Australia's response be if our ships were stopped and boarded in the same manner by another coutries navy?
