Ddzx, the best way to verify how much gold is in nuggety deposits, is to bulk test and then trial mine.
They bulk tested and got a very good head grade.
Normal diamond drilling won't show much, as the gold is perceived to be in high grade clusters, not widespread veins or porphyry type gold.
The silver being a one off is possible but it's more likely that it's not in my opinion. The silver was not visible in the drill core, even though the grade was extremely high.
Therefore, the first hole was not chosen over the others and was pretty much an initial "snapshot" of what that carbonate zone is hosting. Well, it's the best snapshot we have so far.
The fact that the rest of the carbonate zone in ALL holes looks the same as that on the first high grade hole, gives me a fair bit of confidence.
If the next hole comes in even close to hole one, this will go bananas.
