Think of this.. $25bn market cap company with -$40m EBITDA. The ONLY thing that kept APT rising was the unhindered growth story. Anyone who thinks APT was rising because of their financials has rocks in their head.
Paypal is going to be a better, cheaper solution with already an extremely large customer base around the world.
You tell me, who is going to use AfterPay now that the biggest possible competitor in world has stepped up to the plate and is offering a better product/solution? Then there's NAB and CBA taking some market share too, albeit no where near as significant.
Sure there's room for both APT and PayPal (and other BNPL's), but this global domination strategy is completely out the window now. Hard to justify this above $15bn market cap.
