This is highly theoretical. No one uses products like Afterpay with the intention of incurring late fees, especially since there is evidence that Afterpay's demographic are budget-savy with average incomes than non-Afterpay users.
So if we remove this idea that people will make financial decisions based on their expectations to incur late fees they have two options:
-Use Afterpay, a free service when used as intended.
-A credit card that charges monthly fees.
