Very important election for Paladin. A Labor loss would likely open the path to mining on Mt Isa assets. A Mad Katter party holding the balance of power would also be favourable to uranium mining hopes as they are supportive.
The recapitalisation of PDN's balance sheet could be a game changer for the company ... AREVA is already the most likely big fish interested in these assets. Will JB take a paper haircut since SMM was acquired at almost thrice the current SMM SP, but walk away with much valued cash from AREVA or a conglomerate of bidders?
A sale would have the current SP severely undervalued.
Any thoughts?
