I take the bashes with a grain of salt but unfortunately they can make a good forum into one that looses prospective and turns away some very good posters and thier research.

I first bought a truck load of SSN back in Jan of 2010 purely as a spec play because SSN back then was just that, a spec play.

It was the Gene well that got me interested and because of the Bakken and Niobrara play which had merit at that time.

SSN is a very interesting company that when you take the time to really do the numbers and look at their holdings they have accumulated over an 18 month period, not to mention about the management team gives me the full confidence that their leases will be successful.

The fact they have so many opportunities to create substantial wealth for shareholders makes this company a no brainer IMO.
