I think the problem with MEL is that there is controversy. Controversy never helps a share price. It does not matter whether the controversy is founded on false or misleading information, it still acts like a handbrake. The share price is the proof in the pudding.

The recent barrage of releases of news have done absolutely nothing to the share price. The market is coming off a rally from mid year and this will weigh. The entire market is fighting the tide going the wrong way.

I see little upside for MEL or the rest of the market until next year, perhaps after February. The market does not like risks and unknowns, and they seem to be evident throughout the financial markets at the moment.

I don't think people are in a risk taking mindset, hence the smaller stocks are flat or going backwards. Even the bigger end of town is getting belted.

I still think we will see 18c soon.
