I don't think this is correct. When a co is in a trading halt, they can announce the results in their own time up to the usual 3 day hold, or when they advise the market the shares will trade again.

Often companies put a TH out so they ensure no leaks, or when the results are coming but just want to stabilise things whilst they are being prepared to announce.

I am happy to be corrected, but would this be other people's understanding as well?

I am not saying the results will 100% be good or bad. I know as much as the next guy, but they stated assays due now, so who knows what else they will announce with it
