Yes when Zinc was $2.00 and Lead $1.80, at least 50% of production should be hedged. many mines are going on care and maintenance and don't rule out our local producers who are in big trouble (eg PEM & CBH) they cannot keep producing at a 20c loss per pound after taking into account exploration & admin costs etc.
3million buyer continues to hold their ground, with the 'significant pre financing' announcement due this month, I'll bet that bid will need to up the price very soon.
