This development was not originally not intended to be done by FBR. The original construction company went bust and then the job was reassigned. The design I believe remained the same and there is a component of face brick to the design. The face brick they have chosen is almost identical to what FBR have been laying. Its a horrible colour for face brick IMO.
Not sure what delay is going on at the norther end but as of last week, there was no scaffolding or anything in place to pour the slab for the second storey. So it might be a while before we see HX there to complete the job.
Meanwhile at the Southern end, the light weight construction of the upper storey is progressing well.
