willessee fool on denton

Denton last night. Willessee comes on with his "seen the light" story. All it amounts to is an experience of 'release' following a confession session with a priest. These can be quite liberating and powerful, but hardly constitute higher experience of god. Such experience is totally dependent upon the skill of the listener and he will find it a hard experience to repeat.

Then he starts waxing lyrical about his scientific quest to prove the blood of Jesus exists today!! His new book sounds like a half-*rsed reworking of the Da Vinci Code, and just as pathetic! Denton challenges him with a few well placed questions and brings his subject to his knees. All quite hopeless. At the end of the interview the audience is left totally underwhelmed. Good fun watching Willessee trying to field some very basic questions about god - questions that he hadn't even yet considered..lol.
