Dear Ms. Jenny:
This is in response to Global Laser Enrichment, LLC’s (GLE’s) letter GLE-2016-0028 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) Accession Number ML16183A291) dated June 15, 2016, and signed by Mr. Mark Monks, submitting Revision 14 of GLE’s Standard Practice and Procedures Plan (SPPP) for the Protection of Classified Matter GLEP-000009 for the Wilmington, North Carolina facility.
This document was subsequently updated by letter GLE-2016-0033 (ADAMS No. ML16263A037) dated July 29, 2016.

The U.S. Nuclear regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has completed its review of the submittal.

Based on the review of the information provided, the NRC staff has determined that the revisions to the SPPP are acceptable.
As such, GLEP-000009, Revision 14, is approved.
The NRC staff will plan to walk-down the removal of the “Laser Test Lab” as a classified area during the next visit to the GLE site, scheduled for October 18, 2016.
This action closes efforts under Cost Activity Code number L34373.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.390 of the NRC “Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure,” a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System component of NRC’s ADAMS.
