I dunno PTW a lot of what you have said here i know is not correct via direct interaction with people running those businesses, things in most areas are hanging on by a thread.

Bunning for example while it initially had a mad rush Now is restricting Customers in the store and may close soon except for trade due to cost considerations in this regard. Local councils are forcing holidays for non essential staff and those people are being told they will eventually be stood down if nothing changes due to them being paid by rates which no one can afford anymore. The cafes in my area are bare bones only running half the day with sales strongly down. Golf courses in my area are closed. I personally just cancelled much of my insurance policies as I don’t need them anymore as am at home and anyone in a tight money situation will do the same soon even if they are still applicable. Trades are also being heavily effected as people no longer want anyone around if they can avoid it so if it is not necessary it is not getting done. Now a lot of what you said is true some things will not change and others will get better but there will be an economic contraction as the measures implemented are a drop in the ocean. A VC I know recently just told me that all money everywhere has just come off the table as people are spooked and that makes me worried about cap raising for all spec shares and the prices it might happen at.... I just pulled all my spec money as things could half again in this arena very easily...
