Changes to the GEHC relationship from FY20

Nanosonics expands its US consumables resupply business from FY20. Nanosonics
and GE Healthcare (GEHC) have signed a new three-year agreement, commencing in July
2019,

under which Nanosonics will take over consumables resupply for most of the US
market, including GEHC’s customer base.

GEHC will continue as non-exclusive reseller of Trophon EPR capital equipment units in the North American markets. The contractual change invokes a material increase in both sales and gross margin on consumables for Nanosonics, capturing end-market pricing across most of the US installed base. We forecast that the US installed base could be approaching 20,000 units by the time the new
arrangements take force.

Revised deal adds ~$10m incremental consumables sales revenue in FY20.

We project that the majority of the US installed base in FY20 (perhaps two-thirds) will have been placed by GEHC. Under the revised deal, those customers will be able to access consumables directly from Nanosonics, disintermediating GEHC from that business.

In calculating consumables utilisation we typically assume an average of four cycles per day per Trophon.
We estimate ~$10m incremental revenue benefit should flow from servicing Trophons placed
into the market by GEHC.
