Hutchison is also looking into how it can best move into the broadband space, and is most likely to team up with one of the major broadband operators, Mr Russell said.
"We'll look very carefully at how market gets regulated and how strong the broadband players - apart from Telstra - become in the market place," he said.
"It is very possible that we may look for some tie-ups, be they loose tie ups or be they other tie-ups."
