again, ive never said "its not profitable now, therefore its worthless". Spend your money where ever you want but this forum is not all about making money ,though it is often used to outline the bias of the right yet never the left hhhmm... I maintain that baseload coal is needed and will be for awhile and it may as well be Australian coal over lesser quality chinese coal say. We constantly get calls for reduction in subsidies (sic) for fossil fuels and for no money to be spent on maintaining the grid etc etc....those may all be very worthy and indeed achievable in the longer term but I guarantee that if we stopped them now as some people from the greens/left would love to see then the climate would be the last of our worries.
