I have often wondered what character flaws it is that possesses radical greens and those that will support certain greens "crusades".
No CSG and now no wind powergen ... two of the most practical, ghg lowering energy options available.
I suspect it is a mix of nimbyism and alternativism in the absence of obvious commonsense and any genuine, encompassing human fellowship.
How else could so few inflict so much ill will on so many, or want all the spoils of a complex energy intensive lifestyle but not be prepared to contribute towards it, or purport to be green at heart but have direct action initiatives that prolong and increase dependence on coal and be proud to deny opportunity to so many?
Drew, Aiden, Alan (as in Jones) and the organisations they represent or support have some amazingly obvious questions to answer from Governments, regulatory authorities, community groups and more imo.
They are projecting what I am sure are their own flaws and fears to inflict hardship, lost opportunity and in fact a carbon footprint bigger than it need be in opposing cleaner CSG and opportunities CSG presents to disadvantaged regions like northern NSW.
