    Some quotes:

Franck Woitiez, chief executive of Neoen Australia, said the company was talking to the Australian Energy Market Operator and Siemens, its wind turbine supplier, about raising their tolerance of network failures to make shutdowns less likely in extreme weather.

Mr Woitiez told The Australian Financial Review that the Siemens wind turbines had behaved exactly as they were supposed to after three of South Australia's four main north-south transmission lines failed during a once in 50 years storm two weeks ago.

"So far I am not worried about the behaviour of our wind turbines and the way they reacted to the network failure," Mr Woitiez said.

"It's exactly what they were supposed to do, remembering that the network was in a situation that was unforeseen."

AGL said in a statement last week its wind farms had operated in accordance with AMEO requirements and it didn't believe the wind generation losses were sufficient on their own to cause a blackout.
