Correct Kozzie, they're not good for some humans. Humans who have farms without the $10,000 per annum rent from each wind turbine suffer 'wind turbine jealousy syndrome' when they see neighbouring humans with farms that do have wind turbines.
Yes there are rare earth processing issues, but they are more manageable than putting CO2 into the atmosphere, CO2 that can't ever be extracted cost effectively.
