    If they invested in battery farms also,then there would be ample power to export during the doldrums,and a consistency of supply,

    thus leading to better competition in lowering the price.


    To make money in an enterprise and surpass the competition is to think in 'volumes of scale"


    In the case of a product that is tangible then its the quality that attracts a customer.


    In the case of a product that is intangible then its the lower price and volume that attracts a customer.


    Ipso Facto,

    1000   item units sold @$5/day = $5000

    10000  customers signed up @1.50/day = $15000


    Economies of scale,its in the (v) churn and not the price

    A big herring sold for $4

    or

    A case of sardines for $10
