However you seem to have forgotten Siemens statement that they will only be using 0.1% Dy by 2017, current new D7 is down to 0.6% with advanced topography & grain boundary diffusion.

Of course that article is a little out of date, as above D7 now down to 0.6% Dy, and also looks like Siemens might be down to just one company supplying Nd from outside China.
