I've been accumulating above $1.00, but this has been getting progressively difficult. Today, took out everything to $1.10, which likely precipitated the end of day run to $1.14

I've no special knowledge of how the collection is going, but to me the risk/reward looks enticing. Say 60c is returned in the next few months, that leaves a fund NTA of $1.60

Obviously collection the last cents will be lengthy and some written-off, but the market will have seen progress. We should have firmer timelines and my guess is that the remaining assets will trade at no worse than a 50% discount, being 80c. Regardless, I'll likely just hold anyway and await further capital returns.

Also worth noting that 80% of the trust is now owned by the 3 funds, only 20% potentially available on market. The interest of the new manager and the unitholders is exactly alligned. Laxey Partners modus operandi impresses me and I've spent some time investigating them. Also, it's possible to work out what they've paid for the majority of their holding. By my cal'c, considerably higher than the current price, yet they still sound very confident about making good money for themselves.

The shine could come off with any big fall in the USD and an end to the current market euphoria (in fact, I'm expecting both anyway but it still stacks up).

Very comfortable with this one. Congrats to those who purchased in the 60's.
