My thoughts are .... ditto
Reviewed it a while ago. The feeling I get is of a much riskier and delay prone situation, and just unsure about their mgmt. Their underlying portfolio has suffered a huge % fall from Dec 2007, compared to AIQ’s.
Re current risk comparision, look at AIQ’s pie chart on p6 of the 31/12/08 annual accounts. AIQ already has 40% of their funds in cash (both in and outside of the Swap). Could well be 50% plus by now. Not all available for distribution yet, but provides a great security blanket.
No such blanket apparent for HAP and their disclosures are far less open imo. However, still near its lows and only 25% of NAV. Wouldn’t put the house on it but down to your own risk appetite, punt wise.
