What we do know about Lake Johnston is that it has historically produced 10,000 to 12,000 tonnes of nickel in concentrate and it was closed down due to the drop in the nickel price. POS state still 2 years ore to be mined while Taylors Rock and other leases explored.

I am not sure why everyone is talking about the 2nd prize, if there is one at all, treating WSA ore. My gut feel is that during the discussions with BHP regarding the Windarra agreement, over the last few months, one or both companies approached the subject of the possibility of concentrate supply from LJ.

Surely this is the 1st prize for POS and an acknowledgement by both parties that this has some potential would certainly get DS quite excited and be great reason for POS to fast track LJ ahead of Black Swan. Note – fast track still probably 9 months away.
