Poseidon Nickel will be looking for less than $US20 million ($22.7 million) funding to get its Windarra project into production rather than the $US300 million initially expected by the company after signing an off-take agreement with BHP Billiton’s NickelWest.
Mr Singleton said funding discussions for both debt and equity components were“very well advanced” and the completion of the Nickel West deal opens the door for funding arrangements to be completed “within a few weeks”.
