To get around all the multinational trickery simply charge a small amount per unit of energy/ore extracted. It is our national wealth, yet we see virtually none of it. Norway managed it and has a Trillion+ dollars in their SWF for their ~5M citizens. Qatar sells a similar amount of LNG yet was getting ~$25B/year while we were getting ~$500M/year. That delta doesn't help Australians. In a just world it would be called theft.

Base it on revenue not apparent profits. Because we know their capacity to hide profits is limitless.

Michael West has been maintaining a top tax dodgers list and the numbers are eye-watering just in the O&G sector.

That is wealth stolen from our people, to benefit - at best - some finance sector leeches in our own country and bigger parasites overseas.
