Has anyone ever transferred back to an Industry Super fund from a SMSF? What are the tips and traps? I've been contemplating winding up my SMSF for some time now.
My SMSF is with E-Super and has been in operation for around 7 years. happy with my returns and enjoy the control. My wife does not share my passion so if I pass before her, managing the SMSF will turn to custard. Selling my shares, in preparation for transfer, will unleash some large CGT from my 450k portfolio.
Interested to know if anyone else has been down this road?
