I'm in agreement with you and other posters,have done two complete re- installs in less than 12 months,with all that that entails,only to have the same problems as Pecora and others.
Finally got it to install ( overnight,yet again).
Still slow as a wet week.
Fortunately I have Linux Mint dual booted,how refreshing to log on and get a nice fast response.
I keep persisting with Microsoft for only a few functions,now almost certain to be using Linux 90% of the time.
