I am having this problem since the update a month after I rebuilt my system. Freezes, crashes at random times and not HW related as voltages are stable, HDD not failing, all drivers up to date and memtest passed. If it is going to shit itself, it normally does it in the first 30 minutes.
I am going to have to revert to the backup I took just after the rebuild and then disable the updates (except security) so MS don't push out another virus to me. Have spent the usual number of hours every day in servitude to Microsoft trying to troubleshoot the problem to no avail. Made impossible by nothing ever being in the log, no crashdumps and windows making the 'error' beep on resume from sleep... and also nothing ever in the log. Seems there is A LOT going on behind the scenes now with this OS and it is on a 'need to know' basis.
