About a year ago after being forever with windows machines - I toyed with going to Mac -------- but, it just all seemed too difficult. At the same time I was buying a French machine - so, I use that with Win 11 and have the keyboard in US and the language in Ozzie -

I've never had issues with windows for years - never had any of the fuss people speak of -

these days - computing is a breeze IMO - thank heavens for leaving the old days of dos, early windows, etc well behind

particularly now with SSDs etc - even slightly up the dollar spend - things are very fast for normal use -------- might be different with specialised work in images and gaming etc.

I got over my wild idea of maybe converting to mac - a bex and a lie down and a few wines with some french computer mates - and I'm all better
