Had the same call from an Indian sounding woman last Friday wanting to get me to link my computer to hers in order to fix a virus.Unbelievable,who in their right mind would do such a thing?
Spoke with Telstra,our provider today,and they said that there was a "Windows" scam going the last few weeks and that my complaint will be forwarded to the Australian Communications and Media Authority,however it seems that the best that will be done is to ask them to remove my details from their books.
